Sadie Curtis
My name is Sadie Curtis and I wanted to send in my experience
with the Tomcat because I love it so much!
I’ve had this guitar for a little over a year now and it is my main guitar! I live in Toronto, Canada and have been recording/ playing live, and studying music in school for years now. It is the most reliable guitar I own, in terms of quality, vibes and the fact that it encapsulates the sound I’m going for perfectly. I’ve spent a long time longing after new guitars until I discovered the Tomcat, and since then I haven’t looked past it. I’ve brought this guitar along with me to auditions, shows and practices. It’s endured travelling through Canadian winters and the TTC.
As well, every time I pull it out of my case people take guesses at what kind of guitar it is, mainly people who are excited by its unique shape. Even though sometimes I’m met with skepticism from guitarists who’ve never heard of Puresalem, or who believe I don’t know how to pick my own gear, these ideas get defeated quickly after they hear its tone, which blends great with my playing whether it be in my own music (indie/psych), to jazz. Of course the experience wouldn’t be complete without the welcoming energy from Rick while speaking over email, who was beyond helpful and kind! I recommend Puresalem to every player I know and will continue to do so. Thank you!
